OT: Go Pro workflow:

Greetings,

I shot some underwater stuff yesterday. The native files play well on the Vegas 13 timeline. Go Pro comes with free Go Pro( basic Cineform) studio that removes fish eye and other stuff. Does anyone have any experience with ProDad Adrenaline with these files. Any advantage of one over the other.

Any suggestions regarding workflow would be much appreciated. Thanks

RZ

I tried Go Pro's remove fisheye effect, I found it to be useless.

I use ProDrenalin a fair bit for this, and am impressed with results. It has many presets for GoPros 1,2 & 3.

The Highest quality setting takes a fair while to render, but it's worth it.

Do you mind sharing your workflow between Prodernaline and Vegas. What settings give the best quality. Thanks a lot

Here's the order I follow:

Import Media
Select Profile (GoPro etc)
Set in / out points on timeline below
(Video FX and Stabilize also available as options)
Export
Set quality (Low/Med/High)
START

After rendering, bring the resulting clip into Vegas

I'm looking for a software which is able to trim GoPro files and export to XDCAM HD, both as batch process. Go through all the files of a SC card, trimm one by one, and then all the trimmed files off to XDCAM HD export. Something extreeemly simple and intuitive (even Movie Studio, would it offer XDCAM HD export, is too complex). Anyone?
