Any of you get Sound &Vision Magazine there is a good article about the technical differences between the two. But not just the typical Bitrate stuff we've all heard before but more layman terms of laser diameter, thickness of the disc layers and what it means as far a widespread adaptation and longevity.
Plus they have an article on the New 70" Sony Qualia SXRD HDTV (native 1920x1080 resolution).
Who says theres no good HD monitors for Vegas 6.

There are rumblings on other forums that Sony is "hinting" at a reconciliation of the two formats, since in my opinion the HD-DVD would be ok in the short term and the BluRay in the long term. By "hinting" I mean they have diplomatically stated that combination of the two formats is possible as was publicly stated by the biggest of the big gu'y's---Number 1 honcho on two separate occasions.
