Running Microsoft's "WIndows 7 Upgrade Advisor" on my main Windows XP editing rig, I get the following: "Your current graphics adapter won't support the Windows Aero user interface."
I guess it doesn't have enough horsepower, being only a mere Quadro FX 3700.

LOL... I would ignore it (and the windows "weenie" that wrote the code) and just install Windows 7 anyway. I "software moded" my GeForce 8600GTS to look like a Quadro FX1700 and Vista 64 has been using it just fine with the Quadro drivers. I'm sure the FX3700 will scream.
I found a new driver through HP's (not Nvidia's!) "Windows 7 Support Page," but why would Microsoft say the hardware is insufficient, instead of saying "You need new drivers" like for the other devices I have?
Perhaps Microsoft will soon release Version 1.0b of the Upgrade Advisor....
Nvidia has 32 and 64 bit w7 drivers, that's a good sign, hard to imagine that aero wouldn't run, probably a little too high end to make the upgrade advisor list.
