Hmmm. Guess I should turn on the Ubuntu laptop tonight and let it update itself overnight.

I was really surprised last time that it did the entire distro overnight without a hiccup. Wish Windows would do that, for free.

Somehow I don't see that happening any time soon, it's not just a matter of porting the Vegas code it's all the 3rd party stuff and all the codecs and all the drivers.
