OT: Happy Canadian Thanksgiving

To all the Canadian forum patricipants / contributors, Happy Thanksgiving!
This weekend is the Great White North's version of the holiday.
And we have much to be thankful for. Not the least of which is the Canadian dollar rising to $1.02 US. First time the "Loonie" has soared above the Green Back in more than 3 decades.
Bad for Canadian exports, good for Canadian shopping south of the border.
Money aside, we are blessed beyond measure to live in this "true north strong and free", sharing the longest unprotected border on earth with our cousins, the equally blessed inhabitants of the "land of the free and the home of the brave."
God bless,

I'll second Dan's sentiments. I've spent some wonderful Canadian Thanksgivings with friends across the border in Marysville (Kimberley) B.C. and Pincher Creek, Alberta.

Canadian hospitality and friendship is something I wish everyone in the U.S. might someday come to know and enjoy as much as my wife and I have.

We just finished a promotional shoot and edit for a fishing guide service in B.C. and spent one of the finest weeks we've enjoyed in many years. I got to fish while Judy shot footage for the piece. Best of all possible situations!

Happy holiday.

Jack
