Our pumpkin pie is store bought (but it's pretty good!). That & the stuffing. Everything else is my problem. :D Yummm turkey! :D

Prime Rib a jus with Pueblo Chiles and red Zinfandel this year, but no turkey.

A bit nontraditional, yes, but I won't have to deal with leftover turkey when the next holiday arrives next month.

John, this reminds me of one of those "unfortunate" moments of the my riotous youth. Once, while under the influence, and obviously not thinking clearly, I asked a Brit what day they celebrated Thanksgiving. Without skipping a beat, he shot back, "The fourth of July."

We Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October. Suppose it's because the harvest in these northern climes is a bit earlier.
Happy Thanksgivng to our American cousins and wishes for warm fellowship around tables of plenty.
