I've know that this service has been around for sometime, but I didn't know that Bono Labs (in VA) did it.
Being able to go from film to harddrive saves the expense of renting/buying a true HD deck. Ironically, film is suddenly a good option again for "Indies" with the cost of HD editing dropping in price and the relatively low cost of used 16 and super 16 camera. They mention Sony Vegas on their site, and specified that you have to have the Blackmagic codec installed.
