We are so LUCKY!

We are witnessing and participating in the birth of the greatest revolution in communication - ever! This is not the first step or the final step - but it is another reaffirmation of the process that is steamrolling down the tracks. And some of you will be recognized in the future as the true pioneers of the new media revolution.

Here is a quote from an email I just got from the Digital Cinema Society:

As previously mentioned, our first member submission will be a new feature entitled “Naked Fear” by veteran Director, Thom Eberhardt, (“Without A Clue”, “Captain Ron”), starring Joe Mantegna and Danielle DeLuca acquired with the HVX200 and edited with FCP. It will screen Tuesday evening, September 18th, at the legendary Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills which is equipped with state-of-the-art film and 2K digital projection available from a variety of plackback formats.

The use of a tiny HVX200 to produce a feature by a "named" director with fine actors is revolutionary.

It confirms that the door is open to one and all - especially YOU!

Get out there and start shooting.

:>))

Exciting times no doubt. Thanks for the info Vic. Hopefully one day soon you'll be posting a similar story but with my name in it as well. :)

Victor, I know you know this, but for others who may not, just to keep things in perspective...

Do not forget a good script. Everything else is for naught if you don't have a solid script.

Can you spell "Ishtar"?

An old Hollywood maxim:
You can make a bad movie out of a good script, but you can't make a good movie out of a bad script

And another:
It all starts with the word....
