OT: Horror of horrors, monitor advice

My 21" Nokia monitor died today.

Can anyone recommend a usable 19" CRT for a very tight budget? Sure I can look at online reviews, but they tend to be written by people who's main computer use is gaming.

Now using a stoneage 14" Samtron at 800*600, and my eyes are already hurting.

I recently bought a MAG 17" crt okay but not perfect.

The Diamondstar by Mitsubishi I bought a few months ago is a great monitor at a reasonable price.

Problem with CRT monitors is that there are fewer and fewer being carried in stores. Everyone is shifting to LCDs. Good news is that the prices are extremely low.

I purchased the monitors I did because I would rather put the $350 difference in price into the system as opposed to an LCD monitor.

Check out reviews at places like PC World. This particular review is for 22" monitors, but they have other reviews.

Buy.com had the Samsung 19 flat for 197 few weeks back
