OT: I love Vegas and I love Sony

So kill me. I pretty much never have a problem with the software. I own a lot of Sony stuff and I have never been unhappy. I like the forums because I learn a lot and get ideas. If the help comes from Sony or BB I don't care. I was at NAB and the Sony party and didn't win a thing but my friend did. That's how it goes.
My friend's girl friend is in broadcasting and she saw some of my work and liked it. I am happy. I edit my friends kids in school plays. Love it. blah, blah, blah. I used to do this in Super8. You want to talk about something that sucked that sure did but you know what? I loved that too!!!
Vegas just keeps getting better and you gotta love that!

Geez, Harold, we tried to arrange for everyone to win something at the party. :-)
but we only had 100 prizes.
But it's great you're enjoying Vegas so much.
Super 8....ouch. Painful stuff. ;-/

I love the Sony apps also, but I have my own reason. They keep me sane!!!
I have custody of my two teenage girls, and I have a girlfriend who does not have kids. Throw in the fact that my girls are now not talking to their mom. If you think I do not need a nice break sometimes...
The Sony apps provide that for me. V6 problems will be ironed out just like previous versions and it will be reliable/stable. SoFo/Sony has always come through with excellent bug-fixes.
Sony apps are rock solid for me, so I can just enjoy using them.

Caught your reply before going to work.
Actually, I didn't think I was airing laundry. Just saying why I love these apps. Everybody's got a different reason, right?
People mention personal stuff here sometimes(Paulsies Nerve, deteriorating eyesight, hearing, bladder control, whatever), especially those of us that have been here for awhile and feel comfortable with the people we've interacted with for awhile.
My post was meant as light-hearted btw... don't know if you caught that.
Remember that "Calgon, take me away" ad from a few years ago? The woman needing a relaxing bath to "get away" from her daily grind?
Mine is more like "Vegas/Acid/Sound Forge, take me away."

Didn't mean to upset ya there.

Mario,
We caught that. But I am still happy I don't have to deal with those types of issues at home. After reading some of these stories I consider myself fortunate in that respect.
