OT: IM HAVING AN EMERGENCY WITH A DV TAPE

OK, I am in a panic. I shot a wedding this past weekend and when I was going through one of the tapes it stopped working. When I put it in anyone of my three camera's, the camera tells me to eject the tape. It won't let me rewind or forward. nothing.

Any ideas of suggesttions?

This will cost me if I can't get this tape to work. Are there places that are good at fixes tapes? The tape seems to look fine, and is not tangled up or too loose.

Perhaps you can wind it forward some centimeters manually and then insert it. The tape might be bad at just the point where it is right now...

You know what I did once when a DVCPro tape broke on me and I needed the tape? I opened it up, cut the tape, & place the rest of the reel in another DVCPro case (we REALLY need the tape).

However, I threw the tape away when done. :(
