He was still active too. His last produced script was two years ago.

I just saw Woody Allen's Manhattan in a new 35mm 'Scope print. Dianne Keaton plays an aggresively pretentious neurotic who thinks Bergman is overrated which prompts this line

One more remark about Bergman, and I'd have knocked her other contact lens out.
