OT: Inside Man

I saw Inside Man tonight and it's a great thriller that keeps you guessing.

I thought it would be good and it gathered good reviews on Rottentomatoes.com, but it was still better than I thought it would be. Great acting, Christopher Plummer in particular is really good as is Clive Owen. Wilhelm Dafoe is in it in almost a bit part. It plays around a bit with time and when it does, it makes heavy use of "film looks" like the kind you get from VASST or Magic Bullet. About 45 minutes into it, my wife and I turned to each and said "I'm really enjoying this." It's a very, very good script.

During the credits I saw a friend of mine had worked on it.

(If you talk about it, please don't mention any plot details for folks who haven't seen it.)

"Inside Man" was OK. I like the actors, all did a good job. The plot is not new and you can predict the ending without any effort. That said, the acting made the movie watchable. I will probably buy a couple dvds of this movie for birthday and Christmas presents for friends who refuse to go to theaters and hate renting dvds.

I'm not much of a movie fan, especially of the action/adventure genre. (not that this qualifies -- I just find it hard to sit still through most movies.)

Saw this one a couple of weeks ago and agree with busterkeaton's assessment. I enjoyed it very much.
