Wow, interesting read. From what (little) I understand HD-DVD my still be pretty viable, just because it's cheap to execute. Blue Ray is another story...

160mbps on these holo drives, sounds good to me. Anybody know how fast Blue Ray is?

According to the Blu-Ray faq, movies will require 54Mbps, they are expecting to be able to provide up to 72Mbps in 2x drives.
