Yeah it looks pretty great. I just fired off an email asking them if their products worked with 64bit Windows Vista.

As it has ASIO drivers should work with Vegas. You also get a free copy of Reaper with it. Probably shouldn't talk about Reaper here though.

On the other hand you can buy quite a range of USB mics, the Rode Podcaster seems pretty good. Conversely with this gizmo you can use just about any mic you prefer. I like that it has a "loud" headphone socket. I don't see any pricing info, if it's reasonable I might get one for the kit bag even though I've got the M-Audio 410 it needs external power running off a laptop so this would reduce the amount of kit I have to carry around.

Sweetwater, B & H $150

Their representative states that it can playback from the computer to Its headphone jack, while recording an incoming mic signal to the computer. Headphone output has a volume control.

As you say great for portable work., including overdubbing.
