OT: LAUNCH OF SONY XDCAM EX3

I've searched here and the DVInfo forum without any results.

Has anyone seen or read any updated information as to when the Sony XDCAM EX3 will be launched here in the US? All I have found so far is "later in 2008."

Keep us informed we are still in budget planning mode.

We rent HD cameras now and this looks like the time to jump in
the water.

I've heard June or July but no concrete date. I sure hope they hurry up as at the same time the major firmware upgrade for the EX1 is supposed to be released. Given that most of the EX3 is cloned from the EX1 and many signifcant issues have surfaced with the EX1 Sony maybe pretty busy ironing out lots of issues.
