OT: Leads on New Royalty Free Music

jkrepner wrote on 3/28/2006, 1:57 PM
I know this comes up often--I even purchased some music based on a previous thread--but does anyone have any new "hot" leads on music? I want a collection with lots of variety.

I was looking at this: http://www.sound-ideas.com/addmusic.html

I purchased http://www.tracksnow.com/musiclibrary.html and have been very happy with it. I like a music collection with a little bit of everything rather than trying to go the a la cart route, because, if for no other reason, it's nice to have different styles to try quickly to help narrow down what sound you want before going the a la cart route.

Any thoughts are appreciated as always.

Jeff

I got an email last week from www.twistedtracks.com for 50 dollars in free music and I was able to buy an edit set and have a penney left over (it includes 15 sec, 30 sec, 60 sec, full length and two loops).

Thanks. I tried the Hark Productions with the Vegas user discount. I mean, you can't go wrong with 238 tracks for $120.

Thanks.

Here is one that is off the beaten path. He has a variety of licenses for restaurants and other public places as well as synch licenses.

here's one that used to be PrimeSounds. I bought from them back then and still get their emails. May be worth a look.

Update: I received the Hark Productions "VZONE" set (special pricing for us Veggies) and I must admit that it is pretty damn awesome. It is well written, recorded, and it's dynamic. Two thumbs up!

Thanks for the links guys.
