For a brief time, Letus was offering a model specifically for the HD110. They've since pulled it and are "re-engineering" it. I spoke with them today but they are difficult to understand. They said it will be 1-2 more months before it is complete (which is what they told me over a month ago).
From what I could understand, there was an issue with the glass and they are now going with custom glass. I believe he said they were getting 1.9 out of the first model and the new model will be "gold". I'm not sure what "gold" comes in at but this leads me to my question...
The Letus for the 110 will mount directly to the bayonet mount. From my understanding of previous adapter discussions, a direct mount would cause less loss of light than the typical screw-on lens mounts. If this is true, then it sounds worth waiting for. If it's hogwash, I'm ready to try Redrock because I'm getting impatient. Are there any 110 users in this community who are using adapters? Should I wait? Or is there not much difference in either adapter? Is 1.9 on par with other adapters?
