OT: Login problems...

Hi

I use FireFox as def. browser. Suddenly I cannot login to my account anymore and post on the forums. In IE it works fine, so I guess it must be a FF thing.

When I try to login with my correct credentials in FF it just goes back to the login screen without actually loggin me in. If I put in incorrect credentials, it tells me that email or password is incorrect (of course), so my guess is, that it checks for correct credentials allright, but gets stuck somehow afterwards.

Using FF with no problem. Something is up. Did FF just do an update? Maybe you can roll back prior to the update.

I got a pop-up earlier today asking me if I wanted to update to FF 10.0 (currently at 9.0.1).
I declined but, like xberk, am wondering if this is your problem.
One thing to try is to remove all your browser history, temp files as well and cookies and try again.

Firefox 10 has been out since the beginning of Feb., that's what I use and I've been able to login to the forums.

BUT - for some reason a few months ago I wasn't able to login here at all with any browser, not sure what the deal was, and then one day it just started working. (I didn't clear any cookies or history).

Maybe uninstall and reinstall Firefox, or wait a few days for a new version (seems like lately they come out with a new one each week, went from version 3.26 to 10.1 in about a year!)

i've got FF9 on my wife's machine and 10 on mine, both let me access this forum with no issues.

A cookie thing maybe?
