Check this drive out: http://www.geeks.com/pix/GEEKMEDIAFREE.html - if you enter the code, you also get a free 50 spindle of CD-R. Drive has DL support as well.

Just in case anyone is shopping for a new drive. If anyone has this model, and has feedback, please let me know!

I'm determined to burn DVD-9's....

I was thinking, the last time I bought DVD5-R media, it was about $2.50/disc. This drive includes a 50 spindle and just the price of the DVD-R's are worth more than the price of the drive and the discs.

Well, I ordered one. I'll post if I have any problems. I have a Pioneer now, and it is great, but no DL or +R/+RW.

Does anyone know if DVD9+R is going to come down in price? Seems ridiculous that a DVD9 holds twice as much as a DVD5, but costs 4x as much :(
