I come to you sage audiophiles at the end of my rope! Here's the deal...I bought software to make CD-ROMs that have menus. But MPEG1 files rendered in Vegas3 lose sync in this software...the voice is heard before the lips move. But the MPEG1 file plays fine in WMP9!! Very strange.

This ONLY happens on my dual AMD PC! Doesn't happen on my laptop. Here's the dual AMD set up: 2000+ processors, ASUS A7M266-D MoBo, AudigyPlatinum2, 1 gig RAM, WindowsXPPro.

I've been on the phone all day with the software company and they have never had this problem before. This is a stumper.

Any ideas?
