OT-mapping audio files to midi keyboard

Does anyone know of a simple software/shareware that will map wav or mp3 audio files to my midi keyboard. For example middle C=laughter, C#=applause, etc. I know this is totally OT, but thought someone might know.

Oh yeah sonar 3 will do it also.
they both are not cheap.

hmm, I have sonar 2.2, I was thinking about trying to sell it, since I use ACID primarily. I could not tell if 2.2 will do this? I will research 3.0 and maybe upgrade.

The latest version of Orion lets you map to the qwerty keyboard. You'd probably need to load the sounds in the Orion sampler and map from there - but I haven't tried it myself. You could try the demo first.
