That would be handy. If you mean it would show what data is being sent/received by MIDI controllers....yes, I'd love that. My current system test for MIDI input is Cubase's MIDI In/Out indicator, but no data panel or anything associated with it - that I know of. Gonna look into it though...

Quick search yields a few sites. Search Google for MIDI tools, MIDI mapping etc. MIDI Fish 1.0 looks like it might do this.

Absolutely MIDI-OX. The power that's packed in this little free app. is amazing. I've used it for years. It's written and maintained by one of the original Microsoft multimedia programmers.

Not only does it monitor with lights, hex, sysex it allows you to edit, filter, save sysex dumps from external devices and load them back to the external devices.

It also has MIDI-Yoke included which is virtual MIDI cables, I don't remember the limit but I have 8 virtual cables. It's not user friendly for the novice MIDI guy but you shouldn't have any problem Red.
