I don't know, but I can sure agree with you. I've got an eight-camera project right now and Excalibur is saving the day.

I know FCP now has a multicam facility, added some time after it became one the Vegas bragging points. Don't try explaining that to a Macolite though or that Cineform has had something way, way better than Prores for years, or that Vegas eats native XDCAM.....

Both Premiere Pro and FCP have multicam tools built in now.
Neither are as easy as multicam in Vegas.

Noteworthy though, both Premiere and FCP offer this natively included with the price as opposed an additional add on from a third party. That said, Excalibur/Ultimate S seems much more intuitive when it comes to multi-camming.
