May I "bump" this one to the top of the list...I'm interested also. I have 2 burners in my system, a SONY DRU-500A and DRU-530A. Both work great, but occassionally have problems using Nero in multiple burner mode. For this reason, I've hesitated on adding a third burner.
When producing lots of copies, I create fewer coasters using 2 instances of DVDA calling on the individual burners. I burn copies at 4x using good quality media...so far no returns. The Nero mirror image file is handy since you can erase the large, original media from Vegas, but still burn out a copy quickly when necessary. I'll keep the .nrg file on the system's storage drive until I determine the final number of copies needed.
3.06 ghz HT P4
1 Gig RAM
Separate IDE Channels for each burner
Can I / should I add a third burner and using what configuration and software.
I've been investigating this recently. Apparently there are "towers" of 5, 7 or 10 burners with their own controller card. They connect via network port .... I'm awaiting current price - these things tend to get cheaper as soon as you buy one.
