OT - need a free basic streaming audio recorder...

Hi.

I tried Phonarius but got the German version by mistake then another free one tried to add on other junk malware stuff with no cancel option for it.
Windows Audio recorder does not handle this either.

I have Win 7 and looking for no frills recording streaming audio only software not 4000 radio stations.

Hi _ I went with Free Sound Recorder at Download.com.

No malware!! Yea...

If you are recording the Streaming radio station items do not select "Microphone".

There are 3 types of devices to select first. Also my Adobe module crashed 47 minutes into the recording. Bummer. So be sure to monitor what you are doing.

The next time I got a whole 2 hour show at a basic MP3 audio format.
