OT: Need a to buy a cam....NEXEA50UH?

Since having been recently let go from my (now former) employer, I'm looking at doing freelance work on a more full-time basis. As I do a gear search, since I'm now on a limited budget, has anyone used or been exposed to the NEXEA50UH? It's more attractive (to me at least) than DLSR shooting (I've been using an EX-1 for the past 5 years and have gotten very used to it - but alas, it's out of my budget range).

Thoughts...suggestions?

depends what your shooting?

my next camera is going to be blackmagic pocket, which, by the time i've added all the whatnots, will probably come in at around 3>4k.

Full disclosure, I am no fan of camera hybrids as I am a run and gun documentary style type - just like the OP may have appreciated his EX1 in former surroundings I suspect. No doubt the hybrids get a lot of airplay in the forums and you will find no better expose than dvinfo.net.
Seems to me, if you are following a deliberate scripted and tightly controlled situation (beware of low-light scenes) and want the sensor quality and (quirks) - then try it. Yes, I love playing with cameras and shooting test scenes - so the camera would be fun to have, but I could not find a business model in the real world where it would pay off. Ask wedding photo types who persist in trying to do this with such a camera.

VideoITguy...mostly I'm shooting scripted stuff. Industrial video mostly. So, scenes of interiors (I have a glidecam), sit down interviews, exteriors...nothing too terribly cinematic. I've done some doc work, but found the EX-1 a good all-rounder.

Ushere, I was actually looking at the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema...I gather after the initial outlay of $1k for the camera, it's another $2k for all the accoutrements. I'm wondering if it's more the style I should be after since I'm generally shooting more scripted/formal / industrial doc type material...and I like the contrast ratio (from the demos I've seen anyway).

I'm looking for ideas...?

Have you thought about a 2nd hand EX-1?
With the PMW-200 out, there seems to be quite a few looking to upgrade from the EX-1.
