Our Sony Betamax deck just died -- beyond resurrection, according to our friendly electronics repair shop. Technician knows what's wrong, but hasn't seen the requisit parts in years. I've transferred 6 of 45 tapes for a client and can't go further without a "new" deck.

So, if anyone on the Forum has a deck they'd like to unload, please contact me via private email. I'm also going to check the Seattle Craig's List, but am reluctant to shop eBay for this since I have no assurance that what I buy on eBay will work and don't want to go through the hassle of dealing with a dishonest seller.
