OT: Need quick particle generation for indie

Hey all,

I've got a few seconds of footage with a gun that needs to have smoke coming out of it. I don't have AE or Particle Illusion, but I don't think it would be that tough. The whole purpose of open discussion groups is to share knowledge, so inviting off-list replies is the anthesis of that sharing of information.

Google alamdv (if I recall). It's relatively cheap for the smoke and flash effects you are looking for.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

I do agree that questions/answers should stay on this forum... for the benefit of all... but in this case... that's not quite what was being asked.

It was a request for a "favor" from somebody in the forum. I trust people in here. If it was directly Vegas related, I wouldn't have privatized it. I'm soliciting help, which is why I OT'd it and took it out of the public from the start. Sorry if there was any confusion.
