OT: Need replacement for SUPER

JackW wrote on 6/5/2012, 2:13 PM
Until recently, at the suggestion of several here on the Forum, I've been using Super to change file formats and it has worked quite well. However, it recently stopped working, popping up an error message that the version I've been using is out dated and that I must upgrade.

Unfortunately upgrading brings along a lot of baggage, including an automatic installation of a web browser I've never heard of and definitely don't want on my computer.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement to Super. All I need is a simple program that will change file formats reliably and fairly quickly.

+1 for Format Factory
I use Media Coder which is a more advanced converter using CUDA. You'll have to spend some time to get to know the interface and all the settings.
