OT: Need siren sound, badly...

Would you all happen to know where I could get a wailing siren sound?

I'm talking a sound with a wind-up to it, much like an air raid signal; if not actually an air raid signal.

It is important that is be very good quality with no residual noise. I am willing to pay for it, so it doesn't have to be free.

Thanks much!

I am willing to pay for it...

In that case, check out Sounddogs.

I always check The Freesound Project for my needs. Usually really high quality samples and they have a very surprising amount of sounds.

Come live where I do. In the California city they're everywhere. Just bring your DTR.

I actually saw samples to the effect of a "California Emergency Horn." :)

I ended up finding what I need at SoundDogs.

I did not realize the difference between their "samples" and the ones you buy was so stark. It is very substantial. I took a chance for $5 and am very pleased. I will definitely get more stuff there.

Anyways...

Thanks for all of the tips, samples, links, etc. It is much appreciated.

Gotta get back to work... :)
