I've seen these kind of displays at NAB.

They are never very good, because they are multiple projections onto one surface, and the light values seem to shift a lot from projector to projector.

If they could do it with LCD or something like that, we'd be talking a much better display and thinner too.

From the looks @ the page, it's aimed @ mac heads.

They'll drop $6500 now another $6500 next year when the v2.0 monitor comes out. :)

You'd do much better building it out of Christie Microtiles. No problem with brightness, way wider gamut etc. Then again they are around $5,000 per sq foot.
