Today, Wired produces the print magazine and their web site completely separately.

With the new tablet workflow, they use InDesign to create one publication for both print and tablet, and it looks like what they are doing should work for any tablet PC.

I think tablets are finally here to stay after a few decades of failure because the technology wasn't quite there yet. Now it is.

This here is not "tablet computing" but something for those who just want to "consume."

Sort of like the concept of "appliance" where the thing just works.
