Boy that instant preview to video is sure gonna make Photoshop a great title creation tool.

A new Photoshop? I've just bought mine....and you're telling me there's gonna be a new one?! Quo vadis Domini?

We've just completed the training DVDs on CS 2, and I'm blown away at how powerful and fast it is. Some things have been brought to the fore with this new version, and it makes a much more seamless integration to the video editing suite, IMO.

Its really scary. Its as if Adobe actually listened to its users and implemented what everyone has asked for. So Spot, without violating NDA, is it safe to say Vegas 6 will be to Vegas 5 what Photoshop CS2 is to CS1?

It's safe to say that the features in moving from 5 to 6 are significant. What some may feel is significant is different than what others will say is significant. Since the launch of V3, there have always been cheerleaders and dissenters as to how well the upgrades suit them.
I've now finished several pieces in 6, and can say that I've never been able to work faster with any application. The other night, I was in a crash situation where I had 40 seconds to air, and Vegas 6 didn't let me down.

The more I hear, the more it sounds like its a must have upgrade. 14 days is just way too long to wait.

The system requirements page says you need Intel processor for windows version. No mention of AMD - wonder if it requires SSE3 instruction support (which AMD is just starting to support).
