OT: NFL Superimposed Markers

I know the technology behind superimposing the line of scrimmage, first down marker and play count. But it's still quite an accomplishment that it looks so consistently clean, given the variations of grass, player uniform colors and stadium lighting that can potentially interfere with a clean line under those on the field. Impressive stuff!

I saw a special on that a few years ago...it is quite a feat. From what I remember an "advance team" shows up prior to game day getting color samples from both teams, and takes samples from the field.

I'm with ya,, seen it a million times , and still amazing stuff,, and it is always dead on,, viewer knows a first down before the refs,,, speakin of amazing the dolphins just scores on the pats....only down 28 to 7
