while I wouldn't say 'recent'-- I orded a ShuttlePro from them about a year ago.
No complaints.

Filmy,
I do business with Gary and the brothers at Videoguys lately, and as before, their customer support is tops, and they are very good to deal with. They have a great attitude towards their customers, and try hard to put together bundles and deals that make sense. I do wish they'd carry our VASST books, but they don't deal in books much. They're one of our top three go-to dealers.

Thanks all. Must be just my order than. Said it was "to be shipped" last Tuesday and than today they said it was shipped over a week ago - on the same day I ordered it - May 1. I will give it a few days and see what happens. Problem is if they really shipped it May 1 from Ny than I should have had it by May 3 or May 5 at the latest. Today is May 11.

They are also providing the bandwidth necessary to keep up with downloads of the Vegas Tips, Tricks, and Scripts newsletter. Without them, I would have to seriously limit the downloads on the newsletter. I think they're a great company to deal with.

I ordered the full-fledged Boris from them around December (don't I feel like a fool now?) :)

Anyway, it was also quite delayed in shipping. I like VideoGuys a lot, I've bought stuff from them before, but I did experience a shipping delay, so stay on 'em, you'll definitely get your product.

I've ordered wireless microphones from them, they try really hard to keep the customer happy.

I fully expect to buy from them again.

Filmy,
Give us a call 800 323-2325 and we'll track down your order. If it shipped, we'll put a UPS tracer on it. If for some reason it did not ship, we'll get it out today to you 2 day air at our expense.

John,
Are you the same guy from the old DC30 list? The same guy who wrote our original Win98 speed tweaks

http://www.videoguys.com/speedtweaks.html

A lot of our original MJPEG & DV guys are finding Vegas and LOVING it! No surprise here. The stability and performance are exactly what so many editors spent years wishing for!

Watch out guys - Vegas isn't going ot be staying the industry's best kept secret for long. Sony is starting to realize what a gem they have here, and they are going to start leveraging it.

It came today. I called and, this is kind of funny, they put me on hold and then came back and said "That should have been the 11th, not the 1st. You were told the wrong ship date." So the funny thing is that they told me it shipped on the 1st on the 10th...a day before it shipped. Either way it came - cool beans. Thanks Gary.

Hi Gary,

Yes, I am the same John Cline from the DC30 and DV500 lists that wrote the Win98 SpeedTweaks that you have posted on the VideoGuys web site.

I downloaded the demo of Vegas v1.0 a few years ago and was really excited the direction Sonic Foundry seemed to be taking with their NLE software. I jumped in with both feet when they released Vegas v3.0 and I've been a loyal and enthusiastic Vegas user ever since.

Videoguys have good prices and good bundles for Vegas.

Also check out their VIP options. It can work out pretty nice saving on shipping and has other little service upgrades.
