When I got an Oppo BDP-103 Blu-ray player a couple of years ago, a major disappointment was that subtitles on DVDs I had created with DVD Architect didn't work properly -- the subtitle would stay on the screen instead of going away when it was supposed to.

The latest firmware update to the player (BDP10X-80-1031) seems to have corrected the problem. Release note #2 says, "Improved subtitle support for user-created media.

I've been keeping around my old Oppo player just so I can play my own videos properly, and now I can get rid of it.
