OT: OT's seem to preside while waiting for a new release

Having been in this forum for several years (as have many), it is interesting to note that the OT posts dramatically increase (like within this last month) as we run out of new features to explore and await the next release (so the non-OT buzz can start all over again). It's like the chit chat before the main conversation starts up again. Interesting cultural cycle within a forum.

I also notice that the time of day can make a difference.

Late at night on the West Coast usually means the rest of the Americas are sleeping, London is waking up and Australia is up and at it.

Things can get a little silly at that time.
