Apologies in advance if you find this plea distasteful, but a video contest I entered has turned into a vote off. I hoped for a more reasonable judging but no... I'm up against some young whippersnappers who have deeper pools of fellow students to vote for their videos: Here's the long and short of it:

I volunteer as a photographer/videographer for the local Highschool running teams ( now some college teams as well). One of my videos could win me two tickets to China to see the olympics. I would have a shot at winning if it were being judged on merit alone... but they are using a strange voting system which has turned it into a shootout between who can come up with the biggest voting army.

FloTrack.com, the track and field website is hosting the video contest. The winner gets two tickets to the Olympics... as a runner myself, I always talk about making it to the Olympics.. lol .. well this may be my only chance... unless you count the Special Olympics.

In the end, the 6 videos with the most points will move on to the finals which start June 14. Phase 1 Voting ends at midnight CST, February 29th. You can vote once per day.
