OT: pro audio magazine?

I'm not a pro .. but I dabble here and there in the audio world.

I own three digital audio recorders, two (small) PA systems, three (small)
mixers and other various audio gear.

Years ago I used to subscribe to a very good magazine db The Sound Engineering Magazine which, my internet search tells me, has ceased publication.

Is there any similar magazine folks could recomend that is not super technical (as I said, I'm not a pro)

I agree. Tape Op is the best one out there now. And, it's free. Recording Engineer /Producer used to be the best but they died years ago. Sound on Sound is another really good one but it's British.

Having bought and/or subscribed to most over the last 25 years, I've now pruned it down to 'Sound On Sound' and 'Recording'.

Mix; Pro Audio Review; Pro Sound News; Electronic Musician (which was recently combined w/ EQ (formally REP)
Yeah "db" is long gone, used to read that back in the 80s.
