They are still making D-VHS, I thought those things would have died right away.

I actually posted in these forums a while back because I was considering getting the HM-DH30000 because the price had dropped to around $ 500.00 (Us) but not too many people had used them, at least in conjunction with VV. I had one of the big wigs over at JVC call me and go on about all these things you 'could not" do with HD and it was a bit off. For example one of the things he said was that currently no one was using HD for production work thusly there were no NLE that did HD. Um..yeah right. On thing important is that currently you can not use VV to capture or PTT any HD material. There is a work around, sort of, and you can find that either on the AVS forums or here if you do a search for my post about the DH30000.
