OT: Q. for quadcore users

Hi,

I am thinking of building a quad-core machine, but I have one simple question. As far as I remember a single XP Pro was only ment for 2 processors / cores. Can anybody clarify this? And what about Vista?

XP is fine for four.

It's been stated here recently that Vista is also fine.
