I finally pulled the card. I did have drivers, but I honestly don't remember which ones. Earl Foote found them for me. (he's good at ferreting stuff out) All machines now, excepting one are Matrox 450's, 550's, or Parhelia's.

Yes thanks, I have.
The problem with all Voodoo Card sites is that they are primarily geared toward gamers not videographers. There have been many XP drivers developed for the Voodoo 5 5500, but I just wanted to know which one would be stable for video editing under XP and what settings to use in the 3DFx Tools applet.

It is unfortunate that such a great company wen't bankrupt. When Nvidia bought them out they crapped all over the previous owners of 3DFx cards by leaving us high and dry and encouraging us instead to buy an Nvidia card. I will absolutely NEVER buy an Nvidia card as a result of their attitude.

One web site I find useful sometimes is

http://www.driversearch.com/

Which has links to just about every driver ever made. I think you may have to register, but otherwise if I remember correctly its a free service.
