OT: Reload Windows

I want to reload widows and start from scatch on my laptop. I know the procedure for reloading windows, drivers, etc., (as I have done many times on my editing system), but I have never "backed up" email, adresses, favorites and such on my laptop.

Is there an easy way tp save this info for import?

Which version of Windows?

XP Pro has a backup utility that'll do ya. XP Home....not so much.

Either will let you do a "File And Settings Transfer Wizard" (Accessories | System in the Start | Program menu)

XP Pro also has an Automated System Recovery wizard in the BAckup utility...but that will clone your system...which isn't what you sound like you want, since it will copy all the crap, too. :-)
