No I am getting out of the business or should I say expensive hobby. I started this as a hobby then thought I could make some good money at it, but I have found people have a hard time paying for this even wedding videography. Maybe it was me or my work but I thought I did pretty good work.
I am also a self employed network engineer and found out the hard way that I was making more money doing what I have always done with allot less work.;-) Let no one ever say this is easy work it's not...

Anyways thanks.

Did you enjoy doing video work at all ? I'd hate to see someone leave behind something they love doing just because it's not making money.

Just my opinion though...

Anyways.....sure wish I had the cash....great kit there

Wish you had broken things out. I'd love to have bid on a few things, but not all by any chance.

Yeah...
it's the old,
"I quit my BS job, working a grueling 40 hours a week, taking crap from idiots... for peanuts , and I went into business for myself.

Now I can work a hundred hours a week for nothing, and have to kiss the idiots - well you know what."

This is a tough business.
But I'm sorry to lose a good fellow traveler. I hope you'll stay active, even if not to "make money". You never know what the future holds.

Best to ya,

v

No I am planning on still doing some work though on a lot smaller scale. Mostly just for fun I need to sale this because I need to refocus on my main line of work which I "DO" make money at.

I enjoy doing video work it's a whole lot more fun and you get to be creative. Other than my cams the best investment by far has been Vegas which is a pure joy to work with and it is always going to be on my computer just used a little less.

It just has to become a hobby now and not a full time deal. I was hoping to break out of the consulting business and migrate into the editing field but here in Tulsa there is a whole lot less work for this than what I normally do. Anyways if I get no offers on ebay I will post them here first individually maybe and if any of you are interested I can sell here. Better to sell to Vegas peers than to anyone else right?

Oh!? Can't you combine your day job with video? Would there be an option to use this within your well paid work? . .. . Bet I could find a link?!?

Hey, at the end of the day it IS your call! - Like others here, the thought of you somehow loosing the craft you've found . .. . yeah?

Best regards,

Grazie
