yeah, it does. See no point in sueing though. The vegas layout kicks ass. If another company thinks it good enough to use a simular one, great!

VideoFactory (early version of Vegas MovieStudio & Sony Screenblast) was sold to other companies for resell. I think one was called Video Impact or something similar?
Maybe this is a holdover from those days?

Hey guys wake up. For those around awhile, like about the time version two was making a splash one would wonder where Sonic Foundy got the idea for the design of Vegas. Was it all their own or a partnership with the company who MPEG encoder they now use?

You see Main Concept (sound familar?) had a video editor out called Main Actor that looked very much like Vegas, more so in past versions, but surprise, Vegas...oops Main Actor on LINUX anyone?
