OT: Serious problem with Cineform HD v1.8

The upgrade of Cineform Connect HD to v1.8 contains a serious bug that is presently unresolved. Apparently it occurs with AMD processors. The bug causes the image read from the Cineform Intermediate to be a smear of bright colours (rather like a stack of very fine tiles) and is completely useless. The tricky thing is that in Vegas 6 the image shown in the preview window look fine at resolutions "auto" or "draft", but smeared at anything better than that. A frame snapshot taken with "best full" is very pretty but absolutely unrecognisable as an image. Of course so is the moving image. The thumbnails also appear as described. The fact that the image looks OK in "auto" fooled me into inserting a new clip into an existing 2 hour project and I'm about to cancel a progressing render (has been running 30 hours). Find that the problem is known over at Cineform. Hopefully I can reinstall v1.7 and get that to work.

Will you also be fixing aspectHD 3.2. It has the same problem when working with avi's outside of premeire pro?

That's the quickest response to a problem I've seen. Probably because I came on it late!
