I use them a lot. It makes the print look almost 3d. Another plus is that with my Bravo II I always have an unprinted ring around the outer edge of the disc (it just doesn't print all the way to the edge- just a little wider than a hair). I don't like that and on the silver, you can't tell.
Sometimes though I use white as the picture may look just a little too weird on the silver (especially if White is needed in the print instead of silver). So, I keep a couple stacks of both on hand.

Keep in mind it isn't the same silver as, say, a silver thermal print DVD. It is actually more of a frosted look. In photographic terms, think of it as lustre rather than matte.

J - with all the talk about ritek and TY and such, what make and model of silver printable have you found to be the most reliable?

I used ritek g04 & now use g05. But I have been reading the threads on TY's. Maybe once my stockpile runs out I will switch over and give them a try... but then again, I have no complaints from my customers and I burn at 4x without issue.

We use only TY. Fantastic across the board.
