OT: size on DVD

Burnt a dvd using dvda, the same dvd using nero, when you look at the physical dvd the burn is much smaller on nero though checking properties they are same size file ?
whats up ?

How big was the project in terms of file size when you total up everything? If it's less than 1GB that may be why - Nero, as I recall, by default, will burn only what's needed. However, many DVD players won't play a DVD with less than 1GB of data, so Nero has an option you can select where Nerowill burn a minimum of 1GB for stuff less than 1GB; DVDA burns at least 1GB by default.

Along the same lines as Scott, it may have something to do with lead-in and lead-out (basically padding).
