OT - Some more Vegas work

Here are a couple more samples from my Cross Country presentation last Fall for those like me who like watching other peoples stuff. This first clip is the introduction I did using a capture from Google Earth:

INTRO

Here's one where I used the few live action shots I took during the season. I mostly used my Nikon D70 for still motion music montages. Here I show off my wonderful JVC el'cheapo camara work: (big file ~95mb)

CRAZY RUNNERS

Hope you enjoy!

That earth scene was great. Thanks for sharing that. How did you make the glow move across the letters?

Jim,
That was great! Really enjoyed the creativity of the crazy runners piece. The opening piece is really excellent too. I've used Google Earth in our productions also. Thanks for sharing.

Better Question: How did you capture that? I was copying one pic at a time, but I see that it looks like the whole "fly to" was captured.

To capture the Google Earth video I used FRAPS (Fraps.com). The demo version allows 30 seconds of capture time. My son turned me on to it - he uses it to capture video game sessions. (got to share those head shots with the boys... and I ain't talking photography)
